Estos objetos son lanzados a la laguna en señal de ofrenda porquesegún la creencia, la laguna es un ojo de mar que viaja por bajo latierra hasta el mar y que sirven para alivianar el manto de penas que tiene la "Peta ", su santita. Luego su Animita es llenada de ofrendasy promesas de volver el próximo año.
